About Us
The Housing Corporation and the local Authorities view the Association as a key player in all its areas of operation.
CPHA wishes to be viewed as a 'Community Development Agency'. Community Development is about the active involvement of people in the issues, which affect their lives. It is a process based on the sharing of power, skills, knowledge and experience. It takes place both in neighbourhoods and within communities of interest as people identify what is relevant to them.
In our social regeneration agency role we have provided community based projects such as; Capacity Building Programmes, Personal Development Programmes, Job Search Programmes, Information Technology and a Family Nurturing Project that delivered innovative support mechanisms to families within our catchment area.
